Welcome to Stetchworth Estate
Stetchworth Estate is located to the South of Newmarket on the Cambridgeshire and Suffolk border and is family owned and farmed in-hand. The Estate incorporates residential and commercial properties which are available to let as well as significant woodlands. Two SSSIs (sites of special scientific interest) are within the Estate boundary.
Of a total land holding of over 1600 hectares, 1250 hectares are cropped, 150 are committed to Mid-Tier environmental schemes and a further 200 are in woodland. The Estate is managed fully respecting our responsibilities to the environment and to future generations. Spring and winter drilled cereals are the principal crops with break cropping of oilseed rape, sugar beet, peas, beans and potatoes being grown to provide a well-balanced rotation.
